Following the three-day jubilee edition "COMPUTING MUSIC IV - 50 Years of Computer Music" of last year, the COMPUTING MUSIC series returns this year to its original format. A concert, a round of lectures and a discussion will present new compositions, videos and theories arising from the computer-aided analysis and resynthesis of digital and analogue sound material. |

The COMPUTING MUSIC series presents innovative works, ideas and concepts from areas of current electroacoustic and instrumental music as well as audiovisual art related to computer technology. The annual event taking place in Cologne focusses on computer-aided composition methods and theories. International experts, composers, scientists, artists and musicians are invited to present their work related to a central theme.
