COMPUTING MUSIC II
19.-20. Nov 2004, Alte Feuerwache Cologne
focussed thematically on algorithmic concepts for computer controlled player pianos. A concert and a musical installation on the 19th November presented works by the composers Clarence Barlow, Alan Fabian, Georg Hajdu, Bernd Härpfer, Siegfried Koepf, Masahiro Miwa and Conlon Nancarrow. On the 20th November GIMIK and guests offered insights into their compositional methods and held discourses at various venues. A round table discussion gave the audience the opportunity to participate in a debate. |
