How to get there on arrival by train:
After arriving at Cologne Main Station ("Köln Hbf"), go to the exit marked "Breslauer Platz" and continue walking straight ahead, parallel to the river Rhine, into Johannisstrasse (check the map). At the end of this street (after about 500 yards), you will enter a pedestrian zone entitled "An der Linde". About 100 yards on is the main entrance of the Musikhochschule at the corner of Unter Krahnenbäumen street.

How to get there by car
1. from the left side of the Rhine:
Leave the A57 at Herculesstrasse in the direction of the MediaPark, then turn left into Erftstrasse and continue to follow it, initially passing alongside the MediaPark, until you cross Hansaring in the direction of the Main Station ("Hbf"). After driving through the railway bridge underpass continue until the second traffic light. Turn right into Dagobertstrasse, then take the second street right (Im Krahnenhof): the second drive-in to the left leads to the underground parking of the Musikhochschule.
2. from the right side of the Rhine:
Cross the Zoobrücke, heading directly thereafter for the river bank (or Rheinufer, named "Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer"). Follow the Rhine towards the city centre; after about a mile, in full view of the cathedral, turn right before the railway bridge into Breslauer Platz behind the Main Station ("Hbf"). Keep going until you can turn right into Turiner Strasse (also called the "Nord-Süd-Fahrt"), then turn right at the second traffic light into Dagobertstrasse, then take the second street right (Im Krahnenhof): the second drive-in to the left leads to the underground parking of the Musikhochschule.
